1984 offers all-inclusive catering services for our clients, which includes grocery ordering, budget and inventory control and healthy nutritious meal options.

Our Chefs and Bakers are also highly trained Occupation Level III First Aid Attendants (Dual role). This also allows the site to be compliant at all times.

Executive Chef

 

The Executive Chef manages and oversees camp kitchen operations for high volume projects over 60 persons and liaises with site management and food vendors to ensure the smooth operation of services to clients.

 

Responsible for managing an appropriate production strategy with proper and timely preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals in remote exploration camps including, but not limited to, food service, preparing grocery orders and menu plans, and supervision and training of kitchen staff.

OCCUPATIONAL FIRST AID FIRST COOK (OFAFC)

 

The OFAFC is a dual role that manages and oversees projects kitchen operations and also supports site first aid needs.

 

Responsible for liaising with site management and food vendors to ensure the smooth operation of services to clients and for managing the timely preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals in remote projects including, but not limited to, food service, preparing grocery orders and menu plans, and supervision and training of kitchen staff.

OCCUPATION FIRST AID SECOND COOK (OFASC)

 

The OFASC is a dual role position that assists the OFAFC with daily kitchen operations. The second cook is responsible for the provision of fresh, healthy nutritious salads and daily soups, Plus preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, assists with grocery orders, menu plans, receiving of groceries and assists with inventory control. The second cook also provides onsite first aid services and ensures all the necessary documents are completed, compiled and submitted as per regulations.

Executive Night Baker

 

Executive Night Baker manages and oversees the night kitchen operations for high volume projects over 60 persons to ensure the smooth operation of services to clients.

 

Responsible for baking a variety of pastries, desserts and breads, and serving breakfast including, but not limited to, food service, assisting the Chef with grocery orders and menu plans, and supervision and training of night kitchen staff.

Occupational First Aid Night Baker

 

OFANB is a dual role that manages and oversees the night kitchen operations and also supports site first aid needs for remote projects to ensure the smooth operation of services to clients.

 

Responsible for baking a variety of pastries, desserts and breads, and serving breakfast including, but not limited to, food service, and assisting the Chef with grocery orders and menu plans.

 Kitchen Attendant

 

Reporting to the OFAFC, the Kitchen Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas with the ability to assist in the kitchen with food preparation, and receiving of groceries.

Camp Attendant

 

Reporting to the OFAFC, the Camp Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the common living facilities, bathrooms and laundry facilities and can include living quarters.

 

The Camp Attendant also lends support to the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.

1984 Chefs and Bakers are highly trained Occupation Level III First Aid Attendants (Dual role). This means it’s a cost savings to the client and 24/7 support on site and remotely supported by 1984 Head Office team for all medical situations and seamless catering services. 1984 can also provide site-specific safety solutions that support clients’ projects from grass root operations to well established sites with industry-experienced staff.

Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator

 

The OFAHSC assists the Camp Manager to manage the site-specific Site Specific Health and Safety Program  and safety requirements within projects including assistance with all Safety and Joint Health and Safety meetings.

 

Responsible for conducting new worker orientations, manages first aid equipment and inventory on site and coordinates mock medevacs. OFASC acts as a liaison between 1984 and client to ensure the smooth operation of services to clients

Occupational First Aid Drill Sitter (Attendants)

 

OFA3 Drill Sitters monitors and manages first aid injuries, first aid equipment and inventory on site.

 

Responsible for ensuring there is appropriate first aid inventory on site, conducting mock medevacs and acting as a liaison between 1984 and client to ensure the smooth operation of services to clients.

First Aid Kits

 

1984 first aid kits meet territorial and provincial regulations for personal kits, level 2 or 3 with or without a spine board and basket stretcher.

 

We provide rental services for various First Aid Equipment Kits. All equipment is approved to meet provincial and territorial regulatory mandates and exceed all industry requirements and standards. We provide the inventory control and support program for all equipment rented from us and all equipment is timely replenished and/or replaced as necessary.
